About

Hello, Fellow Readers. I am Ashlen Bible. The primary purpose of this blog is to document my time abroad, and to keep family and friends updated. I have been granted the CBYX scholarship to live and study in Germany from 2012 to 2013. I have already graduated from high school; this will be a gap year for me. I will be spending the year in Hürup-Weseby, Germany. It is a small village. The town is located in the most northern state of Germany, which is Schleswig-Holstein. I am keeping an open mind about everything and trying not to form any opinions.

I like random facts, soccer, snowboarding, reading, traveling, baking, and unsweetened iced tea.

This quote was in the back of my program manual, and I really like it.

“Anything can happen this year. The point is to stick with it. Don’t lose hope when you have a bad day or week. The benefits in the end are worth every second.”
